Now performing his hit single “I’ve Got Screws In My Neck,” off of his latest album, “IT'S ALIVE,” Frankenstein!
This ready-to-frame print is a reproduction of an original acrylic painting on wood panel by Dirk Hays. The 11"x17" image is printed on a sheet of 12"x18" 80lb card stock and shipped in a protective plastic sleeve with cardboard backing.
Dirk Hays is an Atlanta-based artist. Dirk graduated from Auburn University in 1982 with a BFA degree in Visual Communications and moved to Atlanta to pursue a career in advertising. Soon thereafter the punk rock and local art scene lured him away from his corporate job. Ever since, Dirk has focused his energies on a range of creative pursuits.
Dirk’s work is deeply rooted in the pop culture iconography of the last half century. Themes prevalent in Dirk's work include references from Famous Monsters of Filmland, Mad Magazine, cartoons, vintage television shows, movies, music, and vintage comic books.
